The headies: how do you feel being a part of the 2014 headies?

Oritse Femi: I am so excited to be a part of this classic event. This is a platform every artiste wants to be part of. I won’t lie headies is no 1.

The headies: let’s talk about your headies experience.

Oritse Femi: I have been to two headies event, in 2001 and 2013 and i was part of the spectators but it’s all good because it was good seeing some of my colleague receive awards. I was part of the crowd cheering my colleague but this year am going to be performing and picking one or two awards if una vote for me o..

The headies you’ve been nominated, what does it mean to you, if you should win show us your reaction?

Oritse Femi: Honestly, i feel good already for being nominated because i have not been nominated in any of the categories before. This is my first time, only being nominated is a huge thing that has happened to me in my life. Even as i haven’t won the awards, the excitement is inside me not just one nomination but four nomination including two collaboration. That’s a huge one for me, i can’t hide my feelings any longer am so excited.

The headies: do you think you have what it takes to win the award?

Oritse Femi: I think i have what it takes to grab the awards because i have a huge single out there ‘’double wahala’’ and this same single have been taking me all over the world touring different countries. There is a reason why i should grab any of this awards, it’s all about voting. Just keep voting if you feel i have done better than what i have been doing before then there is reason for you to vote for me…

The headies: who is your strongest contender?

Oritse Femi: Everybody on that category is very strong, because it’s not easy to have a hit all over the nation because they are all good but i think double wahala has its own depth.

The headies :what would do differently if you win?

Oritse Femi: Definitely i would celebrate because it’s the first time am being nominated and grabbing the award.
