Davido, Tiwa Savage Headline Uk’s Best Venue

Talk about consistency, the duo of Davido and Tiwa Savage has that written all over them in 2014. Arguably the biggest acts in Nigeria at the moment, both have had a very good year. To crown their good efforts and success in 2014, they will be major acts at the prestigous O2 Academy Brixton in London on Sunday. Davido could not hide his joy when he saw his name and Tiwa Savage’s name displayed at the venue. He put up the image on his Instagram page and captioned it “Moments like this are worth more than money!! Live At the Brixton Academy this Sunday!!!! O2 Academy Brixton was voted NME “Best Venue” twelve times between 1994 and 2007.

Davido and Tiwa Savage won 2014 MAMAs ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Female Artist of the Year’ awards back in June in Durban.

They now join an elite list of Nigerian artists who have headlined the venue that include PSquare, D’banj, Wizkid and the Mo’Hits crew. Big congrats to them!!!
