The operation took place in the Ndaba area of the state and lasted from Thursday, March 12 to Friday, 13.
The troops took action against the terrorists after residents reported that the Boko Haram members had gathered in the hills around the village and were planning an attack.
According to Colonel Jacob Kodji, Ndaba is about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Cameroonian border.
Cameroon has deployed soldiers to Nigeria as part of a multinational force which also involves troops from Chad and Niger.
