8 Cars That Will Top In 2015 [PHOTOS]

So long, 2014, it was nice knowing you. While you did bring with you a bunch of great — and I mean great — cars, we’re even more excited to see what 2015 has in store. An 800-horsepower Mustang? A supercharged Miata? Who knows, man, things are gettin’ crazy out there.

Abarth/Alfa Romeo Spider

While Mazda and Fiat have seemingly parted ways on the Miata/Spider project, that doesn’t mean Fiat is putting its little roadster on ice. Rumor has it we’ll see the Spider close to the end of next year, likely with an Abarth badge.

Acura NSX

In 2012, we were salivating at the thought of a new NSX when Honda debuted the concept. Today, we’re still sitting around twiddling our thumbs waiting for the darn thing to show up. But 2015 will be the year of the NSX, trust me.

Chevrolet Camaro

Lighter, quicker, prettier: those are just a few words descriptors press and fans alike are giving to the yet-to-be-released Chevy Camaro. From the spy shots you can already tell Chevy is making some big changes. How big, though? We’ll find out soon enough.

Ford GT

We’re just days away from the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Or what it should better be known as — Fordapalooza 2015. A new Focus RS, a new Raptor, and a new GT are allegedly all debuting at the same time. We’re excited for all of them, but mostly the GT.

McLaren Sports Series

P1, 650S, and now P13 Sports Series. McLaren’s tiny little baby sports car will be here next year, and that’s pretty darn exciting. The Brits are taking their talents to one of the most crowded segments on the market. We’re curious to see how they will fare.

RAD Beast

The thought of putting a body on top of and more power underneath an Ariel Atom sounds like something out of a dream. You’re not dreaming, though, one Cali-based company is doing exactly that. It should show up in spring of this year, all 500 horses worth.

Renovo Coupe

Putting an electric powertrain underneath the body of an iconic Shelby Daytona sounds like blasphemy. But shockingly enough (puns!), it actually looks like something I really want to drive. It debuted the end of last year, but should see more of it in 2015.

Toyota Supra

Alright, this one is a big maybe. Rumors have been flying for years surrounding an all-new Supra, but it seemed like last year was more rumor-filled than most. Not to mention the lovely stunning beautiful wonderful FT-1 concept we saw in Detroit. We’ve all got our fingers crossed for this one.
